The annual claret tasting by the institute of masters of wine - November 3, 2015

Chateau CORBIN 2011

Displaying an almost impenetrable colour in the glass, this Saint Emilion displays very attractive, forward and vibrand aromas of dark berry fruits with new oak prominent on the nose. On the palate layers of voluptuous blackberry and blackcurrant fruits are beautifully melded with well-integrated oak, grippy tannins and a long aftertaste. Perhaps a more fruit-forward style than some, this excellent example has a lovely fresh finish and is drinking well now.
